Expedition Baja – Student Reach

July 2014 – Our Managing Partner, Monte Merz, knows both he and his team at High Country have been inordinately blessed with resources and opportunities not everybody on this planet has access to.  With that in mind, Monte is committed to volunteering for a one week mission trip each summer to Vicente Guerrero in the San Quintin Valley, Baja California, Mexico.  There, he is part of a team that builds houses and schools for needy families and orphanages who are among the poorest of the poor in Mexico.

Project Angel Heart

December 2014 -High Country was happy to assist Project Angel Heart with the preparation of meals. Project Angel Heart delivers more than 485,000 nutritious meals, at no cost, to those coping with life-threatening illness. Those meals are delivered to more than 2200 Coloradoans. This year, High Country was able to send two groups to volunteer at Project Angel Heart.

Colfax Critter Crawl

High Country is proud to be a presenting sponsor of the 2012 Colfax Critter Crawl. The crawl benefits the Denver MaxFund, which provides emergency care and a home for injured animals until the owner is found or a home can be located.
