A growing Manufacturing firm in Centennial is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. This company is very well established and has seen tremendous growth over recent years serving industries in Aerospace/Defense, Medical, Industrial, and Automotive. This new position is open due to the growth and evolution of the department, which will allow this individual to truly design, install and continually evaluate quality assurance and control methods and systems that are vital for company growth at an international level. This role also allows for the unique ability to move into higher-level, leadership positions fairly quickly.
This candidate will develop standards, procedures, and work instructions to provide quality guidance and to facilitate training.
This person will develop sampling plans and statistical methods to be utilized by manufacturing and inspection in assessing the quality levels of products and processes to include determination of control points and charting methods. They will also develop, generate, and analyze reports and returned products to identify trends and to facilitate corrective action/quality improvements.
Here’s an overview of the compensation package when hired permanent:

***This QE will be hands-on, “walking the floor” and will be a 100% on-site position. As such only local candidates will be considered ***
General Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience as a quality control inspector or other relevant role
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings/specs/blueprints (accurate to the millimeter)
  • Working with customers, making sure the products ordered are correct
  • Has been in manufacturing and quality engineering previously, specifically with; plastics, metal, rubber, or concrete. Double checking small parts.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of advanced measurement equipment
  • Ability to work independently as well as in teams
  • Ability to take on a leadership role
