Senior Full Stack Developer | HIGH GROWTH VC BACKED STARTUP | Python, Django, Typescript, React

OVERVIEW:

Hey, I’m Will — Rumor has it I’m Colorado’s #1 Most Bald-est ??? Dev Recruiter, and I’m excited to be representing yet another high growth VC backed startup. This one is a recently funded legal/compliance technology company founded in 2019 is in the crosshairs of having the #1 product in an exploding market, and some fascinating market timing. They just raised a MASSIVE Seed extension with huge trajectory in the short and long term. Due to some changes in the law that hit in 2024, they are currently hitting HUGE inflection point in growth. They just hired 2 new developers and they are looking to hire a 3rd, someone who can contribute across the stack.

***Notable experience with Python, Django, Typescript, and React are REQUIRED.

SALARY: This role is budgeted for 150k-170k salary and a target equity of 0.25% – 0.5%. They also offer Unlimited PTO and Competitive Health, Dental, 401K

LOCATION: This position is fully remote. They have an HQ in Seattle, but there is no on-site requirement.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Past experience working with a VC backed Pre-Seed, Seed, Series A, or Series B company
• Past experience working at a VC backed startup while they raised a funding round
• 7+ years of Software Development experience
• 3+ years of recent production experience with Python, Django
• 3+ years of recent production experience with React and Typescript
• Willingness to contribute to an on-call rotation
• T-Shaped Development experience (i.e. you are both a tech generalist and can contribute across the stack, but you have also become an SME and owner of specialized areas of your company and product)

• ***Bonus / Nice to Have |Examples of a problem solving mentality
• ***Bonus / Nice to Have |Eagerness to work in high(er) risk startups that offer rewarding, challenging work, a strong equity package, and long term potential value (which for many comes at the cost of higher short term cash compensation)

If hired, you would join as a Senior player on a small team of 8 devs – You would be hired not only to meet current needs, but also positioned as a key player for years to come. This is truly the “moment of truth” for the company, and you’d be joining at the beginning of what might realistically be a 10x phase of growth, and as such they are looking to hire someone who is fully bought in. This is the type of role and timing that most startup developers, like you, often dream of being a part of.
