Senior Software Engineer – Modernize a Java Codebase (Monolith to Microservices)
One of our clients, a publicly traded, stable 50+ year company in the Fintech Space is for an several experienced Java Developers as they modernize their codebase and launch into the future! They have grown 15% in the last 6 years, and they are on a strong trajectory or the future. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of SF backed startup development experience in the FinTech Space, and is excited about once again modernizing a legacy Java Codebase (Monolith to Microservices, on-prem to AWS, etc).
REQUIREMENTS:
- 6+ years of Java Development experience, including data modeling
- 2+ years of “modernization” experience (monolith to microservices, on-prem to AWS, etc)
- Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, API's, etc.
- History of strong tenure in each of your past roles
- An emphasis on IC work, not leadership (these are Senior roles, not Lead or Staff level roles)
NICE TO HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- High growth startup experience (For example: having recently worked for an SF backed VC funded, tech startup)
- Experience in/on modern FinTech, or modern Banking tech platforms (For example: Stripe, Paypal, etc)
COMPENSATION / BENEFITS
- Target salary: 150K – 180K
- Performance Based Bonus of 7.5% – 11%+ (you can go over!)
- Quarterly Profit Sharing
- 20 Days PTO + 2 Floating Holidays + 7.5 Company Holidays
- 5% 401k Match | 4% on the first 100%, then 50% of the next 2%
