SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER – GraphQL Specialist (w/ Java / Spring)

One of our clients is a fast growing technology startup with a 4 year runway and well outlined 9 year plan. They just hired 2 new Senior Software Engineers and they are looking for 1 more to help them build their new, disruptive platform. This company has proven investors and a head turning leadership team – They exceptionally well poised to take lead the company into becoming a massive success. They are serving a niche within the banking industry that is deeply rooted (and dare I say “stuck”) with legacy outdated software – their competitors have hardly updated their software in ~30 years! My client, on the contrary, has reimagined the industries needs, and with YOUR help, they will bring a truly modern solution to the 150 largest banks in their space bringing faster, safer access to the niche's banking tech needs.

The ideal candidate for this role has 5+ years of startup development experience and a specialization in Java, Spring, and mostly importantly GraphQL.

This is a direct hire role, paying 125K – 135K salary.

***This will be a fully remote position from anywhere in the US***


  • 5+ years of Software Development experience
  • 2+ years of experience working with Java and the Spring Framework
  • 2+ years of notable subject matter experience with GraphQL
  • The ability to pass a Background Check


  • Experience in FinTechBanking, or similar industries that require highly performant, high-security software delivery
  • Experience with AWS services for performance and scalability
  • Experience with Microservices over gRPC
  • Experience with SQLAngular and Typescript
