Senior Tax Accountant

What You'll Do

• Prepare and review individual, business, partnership, and corporate tax returns
• Work directly with clients to understand their needs and provide responsive tax support
• Research tax questions and assist with tax planning opportunities
• Review work prepared by staff and provide guidance and mentorship
• Assist with client engagements from start to finish
• Communicate with clients throughout the year and build long-term relationships
• Stay current on tax law changes and apply them appropriately
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment and help improve firm processes

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax compliance
• Experience preparing and/or reviewing business and individual tax returns
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• Ability to work independently while also supporting and mentoring team members
• Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines
